Liverpool fans must be furious at this international break, I know. The Reds just got beaten up by Aston Villa of all teams and now we have to twiddle our thumbs and wait for the Derby for the guys to fix it. However, we can still enjoy small moments of the break, some Liverpool fans have enjoyed a photo that Gini Wijnaldum has published with Memphis Depay.

International rupture problems
International breakups are gruesome at best. The football that is played is typically sterile and we cannot see our favorite teams in significant action.
Instead we see trash football contested for what feels like nothing, what is the Nations League? Apart from another empty money scheme from UEFA?
This international rift is particularly hard to bear given that the Reds have just been beaten, we need to see them win big and early.
Wijnaldum and Depay
Gini Wijnaldum has posted a photo of him and Memphis Depay in the Netherlands training together.
Liverpool was linked to a Depay move last December and The Express reported interest from the Reds.
The 26-year-old former Manchester United player is currently in the final season of his contract with Lyon, which means he is available to sign a pre-contract starting in January.
We’ve already suggested that the Reds should consider moving forward on a free transfer.
Liverpool fans react to photo
A good number of Kopites said exactly the same thing.

It suggests that Wijnaldum was using Depay.
Man like Gini here playing players, I love to see him

Some fans asked him to speak well of us.
Ask him if he can join us 😂🤍

Others are more concerned with making sure we stay in touch with Gini.
Gini, sign the contract when you come to Melwood. Please, we cannot lose you in the center of the park. @GWijnaldum
