Several Liverpool fans are delighted to see Jordan Henderson back in training.

The Reds lost 2-0 to Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and they never got going at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp made a number of changes to his starting lineup, with players like Andy Robertson, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino rested early on.

Someone Klopp was unable to call was Henderson, with the Liverpool captain absent since he suffered a thigh injury on international service with England.

There were hopes that the 30-year-old would be available for games against Leicester City and Atalanta, but that has not been the case.

On Thursday, however, footage emerged of the Reds in training as they prepare to visit Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

Fortunately, Henderson was seen participating in drills, suggesting he’s on the mend and possibly an option to start at Amex Stadium.

More clarification is likely Friday morning when Klopp holds his pregame press conference, providing an update on the injury in the process.

However, these Liverpool fans have revealed their happiness to see Henderson back in training, they show their love for the Reds captain on Twitter.
