Limpopo woman allegedly stabs her partner to death in their home

A woman was arrested for allegedly killing her partner after a fight at their home on the outskirts of Tzaneen, Limpopo police said Sunday.

The killing took place around 10 p.m. in the village of Marironi in Bolobedu South on Saturday, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said.

“It is alleged that the deceased came home at this time and began accusing the suspect of being unfaithful. Subsequently, a fight ensued until [allegedly] Stung the deceased several times with a sharp instrument. “

She told News24 that the man was stabbed throughout the body.

When the agents and paramedics arrived at the scene, her death was certified and the woman was arrested.

“The motive for the incident is still under police investigation, but domestic violence cannot be ruled out.”

He was expected to appear soon in the Tzaneen Magistrates Court.
