A school principal was arrested for allegedly trying to get his wife killed.

Police in Hlanganani, on the outskirts of Giyani in Limpopo, arrested a 49-year-old school principal for an alleged conspiracy to murder his 43-year-old wife.

On July 16, Tanana Pulani’s man in Bungeni village allegedly enlisted the help of a local to kill his wife in exchange for hefty payment, said police spokesman Moatshe Ngoepe. The suspect is the principal of an area high school.

“The wife obtained information about her husband’s intentions. The police were informed, the initial investigations were initiated and the suspect was arrested.”
