Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton paid tribute to Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, best remembered for his role in ‘Black Panther’, without his sudden disappearance on Saturday (August 29). Hamilton, who finished the heats on pole position for the main race of tomorrow’s Belgian Grand Prix, stood on top of his car after the heats and made the iconic ‘Wakanda Forever’ gesture from the movie Black Panther.
After the race, Lewis also spoke on the subject of Chadwick’s death, saying, “I woke up to the sad news of Chadwick’s death. That news really, really broke me.”
“It was such a bright light. Wakanda Forever. I just wanted to go out today and drive perfectly,” he added.

Chadwick died Friday of stage IV colon cancer at the age of 43. Boseman was at his Los Angeles home with his wife and family when he took his last breath.
The actor was diagnosed with cancer four years ago, his family statement confirmed. The ‘Black Panther’ star did not make his diagnosis public. The MCU movie released in 2018, two years after its diagnosis.
