JOHANNESBURG – Attorneys for former President Jacob Zuma have confirmed that he will not participate in the Constitutional Court’s urgent request for the state’s capture investigation to force him to appear before the commission.

The chairman of the state’s capture commission, Supreme Court Vice President Raymond Zondo, ordered the investigating secretary to approach the highest court in the country to force Zuma to return to the witness seat.

The former president abandoned the process last month without permission from Zondo after his request for recusal from the vice president of the Supreme Court was dismissed.
