Larry King, 87, hospitalized after contracting Covid-19

American television host Larry King has been hospitalized after contracting Covid-19.

The Guardian reported that the 87-year-old man is being treated at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after contracting coronavirus.

According to Showbiz 411Larry’s wife and children have not been able to visit him, but are in constant contact with the hospital and the doctors who monitor his condition.

The reports follow a recent series of health problems. The veteran broadcaster revealed in 2017 that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. In 2019, he underwent angioplasty and suffered a stroke. He survived a major heart attack in 1987.

In 2020, Larry King now host lost two of his adult children. His son, Andy, died of a heart attack in July and his daughter, Chaia, died of lung cancer in August.
