Reality star Kim Kardashian has been branded a ‘traitor’ after celebrating Joe Biden’s projected election victory, seemingly unfazed by the fact that her own husband, Kanye West, also ran but was defeated.
Kardashian retweeted several posts from Biden’s campaign announcing her win on Saturday, adding heart emojis to show her approval.
It seems that Kardashian doesn’t seem to particularly support, let alone express herself, about the fact that her rapper husband was also in the 2020 presidential race.
From West ‘Birthday Party‘he got about 60,000 votes out of an estimated 160 million across the country, and he may not even be able to count on his own wife to vote for him.
Over the past week, Kardashian hinted that she may have voted for Biden, though she failed to publicly endorse the 78-year-old Democrat.
Her recent ear-filled tweets were seen as proof by many on social media that Kardashian had crossed the west.
Others expressed empathy for West, saying that he probably didn’t feel very good knowing that his own wife probably doesn’t support his political ambitions.
But the supposed cross is even deeper. Kardashian met with US President Donald Trump at the White House last year as part of a campaign to push for criminal justice reform.
And Twitter users posted photos of the celebrity standing next to Trump in the Oval Office, accusing her of duplicity.
Kardashian, however, may have another chance to show her loyalty to her husband: West tweeted “Kanye 2024” on November 4, indicating his intention to run again for office despite his beating in 2020.
