Coach Patrick Aussems does not want to set unreachable goals with the team that has maintained its status in the PSL after winning the playoffs.
Black Leopards has officially unveiled former Kaizer Chiefs defender Sibusiso Khumalo among the 11 new signings.
The 31-year-old left-back was on the books of TS Sporting of the First National Division (NFD) during the 2019/20 season and is now back at PSL.
Khumalo participated in Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Moroka Swallows in the top flight.
The leopards also confirmed the arrival of Wiseman Maluleke, Tebogo Makobela, Roderick Kabwe, Onyedikachi Ononogbu, Tebogo Sodi, Roggert Nyundu, Matsimbi Tsepo, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Rikhotso Ntlakuso and Tiklas Thutlwa as their new signings.
The club made the announcement on its official Twitter account after the players were introduced at Southern Sun Hyde Park in Sandton, Gauteng:

Nyundu has rejoined Lidoda Duvha as the forward was part of the squad between 2014 and 2017 and was on the books of the NFD’s Mbombela United last season.
While Zambia international Kabwe has moved to Leopards after parting ways with Ajax Cape Town (now known as Cape Town Spurs).
Lidoda Duvha signed Maluleke and Makobela after they were fired by Polokwane City and Chippa United, respectively.
Meanwhile, Leopards also announced a new partnership with mining and logistics company Yethembe Group as their new t-shirt sponsor after seven years without owning one.
The club’s new coach, Patrick Aussems, said he wants the team to play good football when he speaks to the media in a virtual question-and-answer session at Southern Sun Hyde Park.
“I’m not a liar. I can’t promise we’ll finish in the top four or top eight. [in the Premiership] I can promise that we will work, ”said the Belgian coach.
“I want the team to play soccer. I want the fans that come to the stadium to see good football.
“I want to have happy players because I know they will play good football and that will make our fans happy, win or lose.”
Aussems, who was previously in charge of Tanzanian giant Simba SC, will look for a winning start as the Leopards’ coach when they face SuperSport United in a PSL game on Saturday.
