Kate Middleton was ‘rejected’ after she approached Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have clashed with each other since the former married the British royal family.

And while it’s unclear whether the two are really in trouble, reports have suggested otherwise.

However, royal correspondent Rebecca English claims that the Duchess of Cambridge had done her best to make the new royal bride feel welcome.

Recalling an emotional interview with the Duchess of Sussex from the premiere of the ITV documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, English wrote about how Kate reached out to Meghan after its broadcast.

After Meghan emotionally expressed her struggles to fulfill her royal duties while a new mom, Kate and Sophie Wessex reached out to her to make sure she was okay.

However, her support was apparently not well received by Meghan.

“William was also deeply hurt by suggestions from the Sussex camp that he, and his wife in particular, had made Meghan cold,” English wrote in a column for the Daily mail.

“In fact, I have been told that Kate, and the Countess of Wessex, repeatedly ‘approached’ the Duchess, especially after she expressed her displeasure in a television documentary. But they were rejected,” he continued.

For the unspoken, interviewer Tom Brady had asked Meghan if she was alright, in 2019, just months after welcoming her first child with Prince Harry, amid a tough royal schedule.

“Any woman, especially when pregnant, is really vulnerable, and that was really a challenge. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman … it’s a lot. Add this in addition to trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed, ”she had responded while crying.

“It’s um… yeah. I guess also thanks for asking, because not many people have asked me if I’m okay, but it’s something very real to go through behind the scenes, “he added.
