Kate Middleton has doubled the happiness of new parents Rebecca Attwood and John Gill from London while talking to them on a video call.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who dazzled in a blue sweater with her half-tied brown hair, said, “This is definitely the first one, I think.”
The mother of three continued, “Well, first of all, congratulations. Is it a boy or a girl?”
New mom Rebecca said, “He’s a little boy,” as she sat by her son’s crib.
When they took a closer look at baby Max, Kate said, “He is so sweet. Ah, congratulations! When did you have it?
Sharing the clip on Instagram, Kensington Palace wrote: “The Duchess of Cambridge has spoken with midwives, health visitors, parents and leading industry experts about the challenges and impact that COVID-19 is having on new mothers and future and their families.
Rebecca told Kate that she had given birth at 10pm the night before, to which she replied, “OMG, you must be exhausted.”
Rebecca, from South West London, said of her conversation with Kate: “Having a surprise conversation with the Duchess of Cambridge after two hours of sleep was particularly surreal.”
It comes after Kate and Prince William celebrated their daughter Princess Charlotte’s fifth birthday, and delighted royal fans by sharing beautiful new images of her.
