Bournemouth midfielder Harry Wilson.
Liverpool Will not allow Harry wilson to go on loan this season, the Echo of Liverpool has claimed.
The 23-year-old Wilson has made three different loan moves in the last three years, the last two being extremely productive in Derby and Bournemouth.
In fact, Wilson had seven goals in 35 appearances for Bournemouth last season and that has sparked a lot of interest from the midfielder.
Newcastle, Leeds and Southampton are believed to have contacted Liverpool to negotiate with Wilson.
However, any Wilson transfers this season will have to be permanent after Liverpool decided that Wilson will not be loaned out again.
The Echo reports that the club is unequivocal and that Wilson will not be loaned out.
“Put or shut up is essentially the message for any stakeholder, Anfield sources say,” according to the local newspaper.
The sale price had been proposed at £ 20 million in a previous Daily Mirror report, and the report matches that sale price.
With the financial impact of Covid-19 restricting the club’s transfer budget, Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards see “little value in lending to their fringe stars.”
With that in mind, Klopp is apparently more than happy to wear Wilson in a season that begins on September 12 and concludes on May 23.
