Instead, the current Tottenham manager acknowledges that Ronaldo’s namesake, Ronaldo Nazario, outshines his compatriot and the Argentine legend.
Before Ronaldo and Messi adorned the world with their soccer prowess, Ronaldo Nazario ruled the chicken coop.
The Brazilian won the World Cup twice and collected two Ballon d’Or trophies during a brilliant career playing for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, but the Champions League evaded it.
Unfortunately for Ronaldo Nazario, the injuries hindered what could have been an even more successful career and he did not enjoy as much on the field as Messi or his namesake.
