Joe Rodon for Toby Alderweireld and six Tottenham changes José Mourinho could make against West Brom

There will be some changes here and there at José Mourinho’s Tottenham when they face West Brom on Sunday.

Much better on Thursday night against Ludogorets after their nightmare in Antwerp a week earlier, the boss cannot start with the same team due to rapid change and will have to refresh things.

The great Spurs team allows him to do just that and several players on the bench for the 3-1 win in Bulgaria could get their shot at The Hawthorns.

But who could go to the side to face Slaven Bilic’s men? soccer, london check out.

Cry for Hart

Mourinho’s first change will come in goal, as Joe Hart received the go-ahead to start on the road at Ludogorets.

It has been a comfortable night for the experienced stopper, but Hugo Lloris will be back in the club at West Brom.

Rodon / Sánchez by Alderweireld

The boss is likely to trade his center-back pair for the game, as Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld have played together the last two games.

Davinson Sánchez will hope to enter for the first time since the Antwerp game, while Joe Rodon could be another option, having been on the bench in recent wins over Burnley and West Brom.

The Welshman is clearly making a big impression on Hotspur Way, but what doesn’t exactly help him is the fact that he can’t play in the Europa League or Carabao Cup, while Spurs’ nightmare streak after the international break could delay his full debut for a while longer.

Given he has experience of facing West Brom for Swansea in the Championship, this could be his best possible chance to start a game in 2020.

Reguilon for Davies

Sergio Reguilon was absent on Thursday night for the trip to Bulgaria due to illness.

However, he will face West Brom again and he is certain that he will return directly as he offers a lot to the team on the left flank.

Sergio Reguilon has been in good shape with Tottenham since arriving from Real Madrid

Hojbjerg for winks

Starting from the bench in Tottenham’s Group J third game in the Europa League, Mourinho opted to bring in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for the second half.

The Dane has been a regular at the full-back since his move from Southampton and will be back at the full-back on Sunday.

Ndombele for Lo Celso

Giovani Lo Celso was good against Ludogorets and deservedly capped a decent performance with a goal just after the hour to seal the 3-1 win.

He’s still trying to improve his fitness today and two starts in such a short time may prove too much for him, meaning that Tanguy Ndombele, who has really impressed this season, enters West Brom.

Son of Lucas

Son Heung-min had an immediate impact on Thursday night after setting Lo Celso for his goal with his first touch of the ball 17 seconds after coming off the bench.

The attacker has been outstanding so far this season and is confident that he will enter when the Spurs look to continue their impressive form in the league.

Bergwijn for Bale

Mourinho is going to have to decide with exactly who starts on the right.

Gareth Bale impressed at Ludogorets in what was his best performance since rejoining the club, and Lucas Moura also defended himself with a goal.

Steven Bergwijn also looked good after his presentation and he may be the one who gets the chance, as he will be fresh after playing just 25 minutes in Bulgaria.
