Manchester United have been criticizing for prioritizing Jadon Sancho throughout the transfer period of former midfielder Luke Chadwick. And now, former Red Devils star Luke Chadwick has criticized the club for focusing on Sancho, when they clearly need a center back.
United admire Dayot Upamecano but, like Sancho, he has not put money on the table.

Meanwhile, former United star Rio Ferdinand recently echoed Chadwick’s comments by expressing his belief that they should seek defensive reinforcements.

“[Kalidou] Koulibaly has been talked about for two or three years, he could have missed the boat because of his age. There is no resale value.
“Upamecano is the one that jumps at me, when I saw the Champions League last year, he was the one that stood out for me.
“If he signs Jadon Sancho, I think he still has the same problems as last season.”
