Jack Grealish admitted Manchester United to his friends

Reports have surfaced revealing that Jack Grealish made a Manchester United admission to his friends in the summer.

Manchester United are flying high right now. In a season in which no other team has managed to find a semblance of consistency, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team looks absolutely unstoppable.

Yes, it has not been pretty on most occasions. But it has been effective to say the least. And they also have a bit of luck to thank for it. However, at the end of the day, the Red Devils are really in the running for the Premier League title and that’s all that matters.

While they could be behind Liverpool on goal difference, Solskjaer’s men are the ones in shape, while Liverpool appear to be losing ground. So, don’t be surprised if United sits alone at the top of the table in the very near future.

However, there are still areas that need reinforcement in this team and as a result, several players have been linked with a move to Old Trafford. One of them is the man they faced last night in the form of Jack Grealish.

The Englishman has been absolutely magnificent this season. But according to the Daily Mail, he had reportedly told friends that he was heading to the Theater of Dreams in the summer. Obviously a move did not materialize and he stayed at Aston Villa.

A big reason for that was believed to be the towering £ 65 million that Dean Smith’s side demanded for his services. United was unwilling to pay that much. However, in hindsight, that could have been a mistake.

Grealish has been on fire this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 9 assists in just 16 appearances across all competitions. And right now, its asking price is believed to be around £ 100 million.

The player himself seems to be interested in a move if the reports are really accurate. But the question is, will United be willing to pay that much for him if the opportunity comes?
