Klopp has spoken regularly in recent weeks about the hectic schedule Liverpool are facing, with an unfortunate streak of injuries seen as a consequence.
They saw another seasoned star ruled out against Brighton, with James Milner suffering from a hamstring problem.
Lady Luck hasn’t been smiling at the Reds lately, and technology is working against her at Amex too.
Salah and Mane saw goals discarded for offside, while Gross’s late penalty was awarded in review after Andy Robertson caught Danny Welbeck inside the area.
The Reds must now regroup and leave again, and the games continue to be intense and fast.
Klopp will have more important draft calls to make in a Champions League clash with Ajax on Tuesday, before hosting Wolves in the Premier League next weekend.
Salah will be eager to see as many minutes as possible in those matches, with the 28-year-old getting back to his rhythm.
Yet it is Diogo Jota who continues to dominate the headlines for Liverpool in the final third today, with the Portugal international scoring his ninth goal of the season, in just 14 appearances, in a draw with Brighton.
