Cape Town: A video shows how what was supposed to be a relaxing night for B&B guests on an Eastern Cape farm turned into a night of terror.

The guests are sitting in the braai area of ​​B & Bs. Two male guests are seen going to investigate a riot outside, but rush back after a shot is fired, wounding one of them. A second victim suffered a minor wound after one of the bullets grazed his thigh.

Later, four men dressed in ski masks enter the premises while a woman protests them.

According to Eastern Cape Police, a manhunt for the suspects began after the robbery and shooting at the B&B on the outskirts of Addo, about 45 miles northeast of Port Elizabeth, around 8.35pm on Friday.

“One of the guests noticed that there was a group of about five suspects wearing ski masks crawling on the ground towards them and he raised the alarm,” said Sergeant Majola Nkohli.

“One of the suspects started shooting and one of the bullets hit the victim in the upper part of the body.

“During the chaos, a second victim suffered a minor wound after one of the bullets grazed his thigh.”

The suspects stole a laptop, wallet, purse and cell phone before fleeing.

“A case of attempted murder (two counts) and a second count of burglary are being investigated,” Nkohli said.
