JOHANNESBURG – African National Congress (ANC) secretary general Ace Magashule said Tuesday night that he was neither concerned nor surprised by reports that an arrest warrant was being directed at him.
Magashule said Eyewitness news He “learned” of a court order against him signed by a Bloemfontein court related to millions of rand spent on the failed Estina dairy farm project that left black farmers destitute.
But he said they hadn’t served him yet.
The Hawks have distanced themselves from these reports, saying they are not aware of any court orders on the Magashule jobs.
“The Hawks would like to categorically distance themselves from the news reports. We are not aware of any arrest warrant that has been issued against Mr. Ace Magashule, ”said Hawks spokesman Brig. Hangwani Mulaudzi.
