A former attorney who allegedly took R6m in Road Accident Fund (RAF) payments intended for his clients has appeared in court on charges of theft.

Solomon Maboku Maponya, 43, appeared in Tzaneen Magistrates Court Tuesday after turning himself in to authorities.
