Here’s your morning recap for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, December 24.
Bent urges Everton to move for Winks
Former Tottenham forward Darren Bent thinks Everton should make a move in January for midfielder Harry Winks.
The Toffees have been linked to a move by Winks, who is in disgrace with Spurs as it stands, and Bent has urged the Liverpool-based club to make a move for the England international.
The former Spurs center forward told Football Insider: “I like Harry Winks, he is definitely someone who can move the court, has legs, can pass the ball and is not afraid to put his foot in as well.”

“It would be a very good signing, it would make more sense to me than a Khedira. I know people are going to say: ‘Oh Khedira, Champions League,’ but we have to look at the here and now.”
“Here and now, Harry Winks is fit, he moves on the pitch, he’s international, so it makes a lot more sense to me.”
Mourinho upset with Alli
Tottenham manager José Mourinho admitted he was upset with Dele Alli following his contribution to Stoke City’s goal last night.
The Spurs were eventual 3-1 winners, but the Potters tied after Alli attempted a move that failed and allowed the Championship team to break down and find the net.
Mourinho said: “Yes. For me a player who plays in that position is a player who has to link and create and not create problems for his own team.”
“They put us on the counter, so yeah, I was upset. In the first half, we were solid. They didn’t touch the ball, they didn’t take a shot, they took a corner kick. Instead of killing the game, we committed suicide. After that was a moment we needed stability and attitude “.

Mourinho believes that the problem had to do with the calf of the loan: “Yes, it was his decision.
