A Netflix documentary on the life and struggles of the late Princess Diana has caused a storm

A documentary in progress has reportedly wreaked havoc on the British royal family as it sheds light on Princess Diana’s struggles.

If reports are to be believed, a four-part documentary series tentatively titled Being me: Diana, will shed light on the Princess of Wales’ mental health issues and unhappy life.

According to Sun, the documentary will affirm that Diana tried to commit suicide four times in her adult life due to the various obstacles she had to face.

However, news of the documentary, according to the report, is not right with members of the royal family, as it brings to the surface several undisclosed details that intrude on the life of the royal deceased.

The series, created by DSP, has been planned to launch on Netflix, but has yet to be commissioned.

Prince Harry, who has already worked with Netflix for Thomas the tank engine 75th anniversary special, he’s specifically more upset about the series.

“William and Harry will be very upset and angry. It is particularly distressing for Harry because he has been working with Netflix, “said the source.

“At a time when royals have taken a hit with Harry and Meghan leaving, the timing is not good,” the source added.

In defense of the documentary series, Endemol Shine, a spokesperson for DSP’s parent company, said Sun: “This is not a commissioned program and everything within the treatment is already in the public domain.”

The docu series, according to Sun, will shed light on Diana’s mental health struggles and her challenging life within the royal family and her unfortunate marriage to Prince Charles, after which she reportedly attempted suicide four times.

Diana, in her own words, had also admitted to the difficult time she went through while married to the Prince of Wales, in Andrew Morton’s book. Diana: her true story.
