Outsurance has released a statement regarding its announcement plans with Katlego Maboe.
the Quick The host has been caught in a social media storm after abuse allegations leveled against him by his ex-girlfriend, Monique Muller, surfaced online.
Following this, an online video of an interaction with Maboe and Muller appeared where he admits to cheating on her.
In a statement sent to IOL Entertainment, Outsurance spokeswoman Natasha Kawulesar said they were aware of the allegations and the video and were in conversation with him on the matter.
Additionally, he said Outsurance was giving him and his family time to handle the matter in private.
However, in the meantime, they would remove all Maboe ads whenever possible.

“We are aware of the problem surrounding Katlego Maboe and we have engaged with him on this.
“We want to give Katlego and her family the time and space to deal with this private situation.
“In the meantime, we will remove all Katlego ads as soon as possible.”
The producer of “The Expresso Morning Show,” Cardova Productions, also released a statement and said that they condemn acts of violence against women and children and take the allegations seriously.
Furthermore, until the matter is “fully investigated and the outcome is known, Maboe will not appear on ‘The Expresso Morning Show.”
Speaking to IOL Entertainment, Maboe said that he stood firm in his opening statement in which he denied the abuse allegations, adding that the matter was being litigated and therefore sub judice.
“I am respecting the legal process and all those involved and I do not compromise or discredit anyone,” he said.
Regarding the video circulating on social media, where Muller is apparently filming it, Maboe said it was filmed on August 24 and started as a normal night at home and ended in the barbecue session.
“My son was used as a weapon, and as a father, I was put in a position where I must consider my love for him … I said what I said in the video and did my best to at least draw the line the integrity of the people involved.
“I was very willing to have the conversation with her in person, but I realized very quickly that the intention of the video from the beginning was for it to be published.”
IOL Entertainment was unable to reach Muller for comment.
