The Stormers have been further boosted as center Rikus Pretorius has reportedly penned a new deal with Western Province Rugby.
Netwerk24 He reports that the promising young midfielder has decided to commit his future to the Western Province with his new contract scheduled until at least 2023.
The 21-year-old Pretorius, who played for the Springboks Junior in 2018 and 2019, was rumored to be a topic of interest to the Vodacom Bulls as his contract expired this year.

However, the news that he has decided to stay in Cape Town will be a huge boost for Western Province and the Stormers.
This also occurs shortly after Province signed two promising young players to flyhalf Kade Wolhuter and forward Keketso Morabe. Wolhuter, 18, who studied at the Paul Roos Gym in Stellenbosch, returned to the Western Cape after a stint at the Montpellier Academy in France.
