A rumor had spread on social media about George and Amal Clooney claiming that they did not know Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their royal wedding in 2018.
However, the rumor has now been quelled when a representative of the powerful couple stepped forward to set the record straight on the story written by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel.
A spokesperson for the two denied that the couple ever made the claim against the Sussex couple.
According to Boris Johnson’s sister, Rachel Johnson, the couple had been telling the wedding guests that they were anything but the bride and groom’s best friends.
