JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng police are searching for gunmen who detained two truckers on the N12 road before setting their vehicles on fire.
Some roads had to be closed at Daveyton in Benoni after the violent attack on Wednesday morning.
This is the latest violence in trucks after at least 29 of them were attacked in the country last week, allegedly in protest at the employment of foreigners in the sector.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned the violence and said it will disrupt the country’s economic recovery.
