The time of his return has not yet been revealed and he will miss the game against Everton.
Xhaka will continue to serve his three-game ban for his last red card and will miss this game and Arsenal’s next match against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.
Gabriel Magalhaes became the second Arsenal player in four days to see red and will begin serving his suspension from this game.
