The ANC Youth League in the Free State has accused the administration of President Ramaphosa of using state organs to fight internal battles between ANC factions.
In a statement issued shortly after news broke that an arrest warrant had been issued against ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule, who is a former Prime Minister of the Free State, ANCYL said it had watched “a carefully choreographed program. on the use of reactionary media and state organs to isolate certain leaders of the ANC, in particular the secretary general of the ANC, Cde Ace Magashule ”.
Earlier Tuesday night, Magashule confirmed to Sifiso Mahlangu, Independent Media’s head of policy, that he knew an arrest warrant had been issued against him in connection with the nefarious Vrede dairy farm project.
The Youth League statement, released on its Facebook page, compared Magashule’s impending arrest to Zuma’s arrest when he was Thabo Mbeki’s deputy and maintained that the accusations against Magashule were false.

“We are aware of the carefully defined stages in the implementation of this nefarious plan, the first phase is to use the non-transformed and counterrevolutionary media to constantly tarnish the image of the targets. The league further warned law enforcement agencies not to allow themselves to be used as “political tools and representatives of political battles in the ANC.”
In a farewell to Magashule’s detractors, they charged that the purpose of the accusations against Magashule was to discredit him and force him to step aside “and ensure that the real stumbling block against the cartel of white monopoly capital is left out.”
They called on all structures within the ANC to “fight tooth and nail against the blatant use of state organs against other comrades in fostering factional political battles, led by white monopoly representatives who have to act in pre-order. by their teachers ”.
