Naicker said the two men were involved in an altercation at an event at the university on Sunday. Both men are expected to appear before the Umlazi Magistrates Court on Monday, Naicker said.

Just before he could make his speech, a man believed to be a MUT student stabbed him and rushed him to hospital. A case has been opened with Umlazi SAPS ”.
