“As we navigate these challenging times, we continue to reimagine what is possible by leveraging the scale of our platform to help both individual and commercial customers,” said FNB CEO Jacques Celliers.

“The launch of our latest smart tools, which are deeply rooted in our understanding of customer challenges, is a testament to this.”

“More importantly, the small businesses that are the backbone of our economy have also suffered a lot of stress this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we believe that the digitized market solution will help them grow their revenue over time and become key income. line in their day to day “.

The following tools are available or being implemented in the navigation solutions in the FNB application:

Smart budget

Smart Budget is a new feature that automatically sorts the types of payments you’ve made to simplify your money management tracking processes.

The tool separates your spending into groups like food, fuel, entertainment, and data, making it easy to keep track of where you are spending your money.

Users can manually separate certain payments into different categories, for example, if you shop in one store, but buy clothes and food at the same time.

FNB will also allow users to set alerts for when you hit certain spending benchmarks, such as the amount of your monthly spending allowance that you have spent.

Wellness

FNB noted that more than 100,000 customers have used this solution to date, and FNB continues to help these users with their personal health and wellness.

Customers now have access to an exclusive offer with NetcarePlus, offering discounted GP coupons for a virtual consultation on R290, face-to-face consultation on R350, and GP consultation including acute medication on R430.

Customers will also be able to buy vouchers for their family members, helpers or employees.

Car

FNB will allow users to access a list of offers, makes and unique vehicles directly through the FNB app.

Users can also access WesBank pre-approved and optimized financing directly through the Nav section of the FNB app.

Home

FNB clients can list their properties directly through the FNB app in minutes. This can be done through an FNB commercial banking real estate agent or privately.

This will give the seller access to thousands of new FNB approved buyers, and FNB clients will also have access to special offers on new real estate developments.

Users of the FNB app also have access to FNB-banked five-star service providers such as plumbers, electricians, security, and home catering providers.

Payment for these services can also be made through the FNB application.

FNB noted that there are 3 million users of the FNB app, which means that FNB’s banking service providers are gaining access to a large number of new customers.
