He was born on November 29, 1921 in Washington DC, he lived through prohibition, depression and World War II. I spoke to him for hours around the 20s, 30s and 40s. It was a history lesson. His mind was razor sharp until the day he died. ”

She was married three times and is survived by her third husband, Stephen Devine.
