Regarding the remaining three tenders, with a combined value of more than R822m, Modise said the investigation found no evidence indicating misconduct by officials or losses suffered by the department. The apartment was found to receive good value for money.

Modise said that the department would seek forgiveness from the National Treasury for the irregular expenses incurred in that regard.
