DUBAI – Emirates plans to operate passenger services to Frankfurt (April 25, 27 and 29), Jakarta (April 26), Johannesburg (April 25), Lagos (April 26), London Heathrow (23, 24, 26, April 28 and 30)), Madrid (April 29), Manila (April 24, 28 and 30) and Tunisia (April 30). These services will facilitate residents and visitors who wish to return home.
Those who wish to travel to Johannesburg, Lagos and Tunisia should contact the embassy or consulate of these countries in the UAE. For all other flights, passengers can book directly on emirates.com (select the “one-way” option when booking) or through their travel agent.
Only citizens of destination countries and those who meet destination entry requirements will be allowed to board. Customers must follow all health and safety measures required by the authorities of the UAE and the destination country.
Like other repatriation flights Emirates has operated so far, for health and safety reasons, the airline will offer a modified on-board service that reduces contact and the risk of infection. More information is available at emirates.com.
Passengers are required to apply social distancing guidelines during their journey and to wear their own masks when at the airport and on board the plane. Travelers must arrive at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport to check in, three hours before departure. Emirates check-in counters will only process passengers who have confirmed reservations at the above destinations.
All Emirates aircraft will go through improved cleaning and disinfection processes in Dubai after each trip.
