The couple, who began dating in 2017 before tying the knot in January 2018, agreed to go their separate ways. Elliot filed the legal documents to divorce Emma on Tuesday, January 26, according to TMZ.
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce after our separation last summer,” they said. IS! News in a joint return. “We have the utmost respect for each other and remain close friends.”
The news comes shortly after Emma shared an affectionate post with her husband at the time, after he shared that she is transgender.
