Keeping quiet because the matter is an internal matter of another political party was no longer an option for the EFF, he said.

“Month after month, the public has witnessed statements from the ruling party that, without remorse or consideration, inform employees that they will be paid significantly later than the agreed dates at the end of the month,” said EFF spokeswoman Delisile Ngwenya.

“As an EFF, we have a duty to denounce the exploitation of workers, even if it is within the boundaries of other political parties. These employees are bound by contract, have dependents and service bills.”

Ngwenya said that the “failure of the ANC to manage its financial affairs” was a disgrace that should not affect innocent workers.

The EFF asked the ANC workers to come to the EFF work table to seek help in hiring their employer.

“The EFF will defend these employees without fail from the exploitation they face in a ruling party that simply cannot support itself and its employees,” Ngwenya said.
