Edinson Cavani was Manchester United’s hero on Sunday afternoon.
The 33-year-old, who joined the Red Devils as a free agent in the summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, came off the bench and inspired United to a 3-2 victory in St. Mary’s.

Cavani now faces a possible three-game suspension.
Watford forward Troy Deeney, speaking about talkSPORT, gave his opinion on the matter Monday morning.
He believes that Cavani * yes * deserves a three-game ban, even if there was no malice, and hopes the Uruguayan will also get an education.
“When you write a message, it is considered,” Deeney said. “Nine times out of 10, you will review it before posting it because you don’t want to sound like an idiot.
“At no point in the psychological sense did you say ‘that’s not right’, that’s what worries me a bit.
“I understand that we now have three-game bans, but I just want to know if the FA is educating players when they come to this country.
“I don’t think he wanted to insult anyone, but to educate on what is acceptable and what is not.”
Deeney added: “He wrote it, he thought about it and we have people around who would say ‘I don’t think you really should do that.’
“He probably acted in a happy moment, obviously scoring, so I don’t take it as an offense for that. You just haven’t understood the ramifications of your words.
“So I think sometimes three games are not enough. It has to be three games with a form of education, in my opinion, and understand that these words hurt people and these are the effects of why they hurt people. “
