The Duke and Duchess of Sussex walked down the church steps after their nuptials with This little light of mine and now they have revealed the special meaning the song has for them.
Meghan says: “This little light of mine It was playing at the end of our wedding as we walked down the steps of the church. It was the music we wanted to play when we started our lives together. Because, as we all know, ‘darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.’

While Harry adds on his Archewell podcast: “The message of this song is one that we hold dear. It is about using the power that each of us has within us to make this world a better place.”
And the couple lives by the relationship motto that “love always wins.” Offering relationship advice to George the Poet, the Duchess of Sussex says, “Of us, I will say that no matter what life throws at you, trust us when we say love wins.”
