Surprises kept coming after the arrival of Drake’s new mixtape, Dark Lane Demo Tapes.
Not only did he surprise fans by leaving the project just hours after announcing its existence, but the song list included several features from superstar guests, which many can’t help but say on social media.
But the biggest surprise of all came during the song “Demons,” which included a cheeky reference to Kylie Jenner, with whom the rapper sparked romance rumors just a few months ago.
Drake sneaked up on Jenner’s huge fortune in the song.

After dropping his surprise mixtape on May 1, fans quickly picked up on the 33-year-old rapper, subtly dropping Jenner’s younger brother on his song, “Demons,” in which he collaborated with Fivio Foreign and Sosa Greek.
In the first verse, Drake criticizes: “My TD Bank is in what? (What?) / My TD Bank is in Kylie (Ayy, ayy) “, implying that your bank account is at the same level as the keeping up with the Kardashians star, who was recently named the “youngest self-made billionaire” for the second year in a row.
While referral may not seem like a big deal to some, it’s for those of us who followed Drake and Jenner’s short-lived adventure a few months back.
In October 2019, rumors began to emerge that Jenner and Drake sparked a connection, just days after she closed it, her boyfriend of two years, Travis Scott.
The couple was first seen at the rapper’s 33rd birthday party at Goya Studios in Hollywood. Sources from Us Weekly reported that Jenner “spent most of the time near Drake and his friends” that night.
Then they added, “Kylie was rapping songs and dancing with her friends while standing next to Drake, but they weren’t dancing together. However, they seemed to have a connection.
Jenner and Drake have been friends for years.
After that, Drake and Jenner started dating “romantically,” causing mixed reports about whether they were just friends or became something else.
While some sources insisted that the two were just friends who had established a close bond after being friends for years, others reported that the A-listers “had something“ for each other, but we do not seek to make their relationship “serious.”
“Drake has always had a thing for Kylie and it’s mutual,” said the source. “They hang out here and there and have been more recently than in the past because Kylie is technically single right now and the two of them live very close to each other.”

Finally, celebrities did not want things to get complicated between them and mutually agreed that they would remain friends so that did not happen.
“Drake would never want to upset Kylie or any of the family members he has known forever, so he wants to cool down every single romance rumor,” a separate source told the outlet. “Drake is not going to bother Kylie with anything, he will never want to deal with the repercussions if they become an item and then break up. He prefers to stop chasing after anything while still being great friends.”
To this day, both Jenner and Drake are still single and, to the public’s knowledge, they remain good friends.
