The president of the United States first mocked the lack of popularity of Kamala Harris, claiming that she has dropped in the polls in recent months. President Trump later added that the Republican Party would not allow the Democrats to destroy America, a sensational claim in a chaotic rally.

Trump said: “If our foreign advisers were coming up with a plan to destroy America from within, all they have to do is Biden’s Harris.

“They choose a woman who starts out strong, she’s one of the favorites, in a few months she goes down, down.

“He left because he would not have obtained votes, he was terrible.

“Could this possibly be your president? I don’t think so.”

And he added: “They are not going to get there, we are not going to let it happen.

“We are not going to allow our country to be destroyed by a lot of crazy jobs.”

Earlier this month, a former White House communications director warned President Trump that his fan base has “eroded” as voters leave the Republican Party.

Anthony Scaramucci told TimesRadio that it is impossible for people to support President Trump because he keeps “moving the goalposts.”

“I know everyone says it’s an inflexible base, but look at the Wisconsin poll numbers.

“They are always biased in favor of the Republicans, but now there are 53 to 42 in Wisconsin.

“The president’s campaign has pulled out of Michigan, they are likely now pulling out of Wisconsin.”

He added: “I think those Republicans are now in a vice.

“They are going to have difficult times and there will be a reckoning in the Republican Party.”
