This month, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) indicted Neumann.

He is accused of trying to attack a student by pointing his finger at his face.

Neumann claimed that the student was drunk and that it was he who was assaulted.

The other charges relate to blocking COVID-19.

The principal refused to reopen the school amid the spike of infection.
