One Arsenal player who has been in the rumor mill in recent weeks has been Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman is one of the club’s best players, but has seen his position threatened by the appearance of Eddie Nketiah.
The young Englishman impressed Mikel Arteta after interrupting his assignment at Leeds United and has shared the No. 9 spot with Lacazette ever since.
Lacazette has entered the last two years of his current contract at the Emirates and the Gunners have not exactly shown a desire to start talks on a new contract with him.
He has been linked with a host of teams, including Juventus and Atlético de Madrid, in this transfer window.
The Italians seem to have a great interest in his signing following the appointment of Andrea Pirlo as their new coach.
However, Standard Sports reports that despite rumors that he is an interesting European team, the Gunners have yet to receive any offers to sign him.
Arsenal have been busy adding new players to their squad in this transfer window, but the Gunners will have to sell before they can sign their goals and a tempting offer could be accepted for the former Lyon forward.
