Villiers AB He was in excellent shape again Saturday when the cricket community paid tribute to one of the game’s greats.
‘Sir. 360 ‘, as he is affectionately known by fans of the Indian Premier League (IPL), launched an impressive 55 * (22) to catapult the Royal Challengers Bangalore to an unlikely final after the victory against the Rajasthan Royals in Dubai.
Bangalore was apparently buried with much to do in pursuit, but De Villiers, for the second time in a few days, played an inning that left commentators and fans around the world in awe.
De Villiers is still potentially available for the Proteas in T20 cricket and based on what we’re seeing at IPL 2020, he still has a lot to offer.
After his effort to win the match, De Villiers was showered with praise from the international cricket community on social media.
