Lehlohonolo Seema appears to be heading out at Chippa United after the club suspended him Tuesday night.
Seema has only managed to win one of eight games in the DStv Premiership so far this season and it appears that owner Siviwe Mpengesi’s patience has once again run out.
Mpengesi told Seema in an email sent Tuesday night that her fate would be decided by a board meeting Wednesday afternoon.
The email read: “We wrote to you in difficult circumstances for the club, where this season there was no victory for the club and a series of three losses in a row, most recently against AmaZulu FC.
“The results under your mandate are an extreme cause for concern and need an immediate solution in accordance with your employment contract and, more particularly, those related to performance.
“Having stated the above, they are informed that the shareholders and the board of directors have called an urgent meeting to deliberate on the matter.
“Pending the outcome of such deliberations, please kindly excuse all formal duties, including additional training sessions with immediate effect.”
The letter was signed by Mpengesi.
