JOHANNESBURG – Sister station CapeTalk said Sunday it was back on the air at reduced power after working on its radio broadcast that was looted overnight.

The thieves damaged some of the equipment before taking various electronic components.

The station said Sentech was monitoring the situation for stability after a large amount of copper was stolen, including the underground strips that are part of the antenna.

Listeners can still tune in to the talk station via DSTV or online streaming.
