the Bulls They have made several changes to their team to face the Cheetahs in a Currie Cup clash on Saturday.
While most of these changes are on the bottom line, Bulls rugby manager Jake White has also considered his package.
Flyhalf Morne Steyn returns to the starting lineup where he will play Embrose Papier in a new defensive midfielder pair.
Kurt-Lee Arendse and David Kriel switch to right back and right back respectively with Marco Jansen van Vuren winning his first start on the left wing.
At the lock, Sintu Manjezi starts while the front row sees props Marcel van der Merwe and Gerhard Steenekamp getting the nod in the XV run-on.
The bench includes Jan-Hendrik Wessels, who will make his Bulls Cup debut and Carling Currie as a replacement mainstay, while Trevor Nyakane and Ruan Nortje will provide cover on the pillar and lock, respectively.
Marnus Potgieter is also ready for his competition and team debut, as he completes the baseline replacements alongside Ivan van Zyl and Chris Smith.
“The Cheetahs are the only team that has beaten us in the last round, so we’re looking forward to this one. I’m also excited about the changes we’ve made to our team, and I’m looking forward to seeing our new combinations,” White said.
