The incident occurred at the corner of Ndawo and Khethelo streets in Bloekombos, Kraaifontein.

Vuyelwa Sigoni, 27, says: “It was around 9 pm, while I was watching television, I heard several shots. I was scared to go out, but I heard people yelling and then I went out.
“When I got to the car, I saw that the boy was in the back and had already passed away.”
The shocked woman tells the Daily Voice that she is still traumatized after seeing the boy’s body: “No one thinks that one day they will see a child’s body riddled with bullet holes.
“I can’t even understand who would shoot a child like that.”
She says Asandile was still alive when community members approached the car.
“I was still breathing when I was there, but I soon left the scene,” adds Vuyelwa.
“I could no longer look at the gruesome scene. Things like that hardly happen here, and now it’s difficult for me when I look at the place where this incident occurred. “
The Daily Voice visited the families of the victims but declined to comment.
“We don’t want to talk about what happened, we are not prepared,” said a relative.
