She said she was puzzled as to why someone would want to hurt, let alone murder, Weyers.

“She was a loving person. She was very loving and always happy. She loved her family,” he said.

Claassens said he had no idea who would have wanted to harm his daughter.

“The police are questioning some people. We are just trying to understand how this happened. We are devastated and we want justice,” he said.

It is believed that the Weyers may have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped on the ground. Inanda SAPS is investigating a murder case.
