The adjustment was made on Friday, after the young star’s name was initially left off the list when nominations were first announced in November, Billboard reports.
Blue will turn nine on January 7, a few weeks before the 63rd Grammy Awards.
Should Dark skinned girl Win the trophy, Blue will become one of the youngest artists to win an award at the prestigious ceremony.
The youngest Grammy winner and nominee in history, according to The independent, is Leah Peasall from The Peasall Sisters.
Leah was credited as one of the artists in the Oh brother, where are you? soundtrack that won Album of the Year at the 2001 Grammys. She was only eight years old at the time.
