Benni McCarthy has received the applause of former coach José Mourinho.
the AmaZulu boss won PSL Coach of the Month award and his former Porto coach was delighted with his praise.
McCarthy posted a photo of himself with his award on Instagram where he thanked his technical team for their role in his victory.
Now Spurs manager Mourinho commented on the post saying: “My striker is now coach of the month !!”
The former Bafana Bafana forward responded with his own compliment to Mourinho saying: “Hello sir, how are you? I learned from the best in the game “
McCarthy has guided AmaZulu to a respectable sixth place in the league table and is currently on a six-game unbeaten streak.
Usuthu is in action today, they are out of Chippa United seeking victory. The Chilli Boys have only had three points in their last six games.
