Things seem to be moving toward a pacifying point for supermodel Bella Hadid and singer Selena Gomez after their public fights before.
Eagle-eyed fans noted that Hadid extended an olive branch after she quietly followed Gómez on Instagram again after she stopped following her earlier.
Now both stars are following each other on the photo and video sharing platform after a mutual breach in 2017, when Gomez was in a relationship with Hadid’s ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd.
After the news of Gomez and The Weeknd’s relationship in January 2017, just two months after parting with Hadid, the fashion icon stopped following. Rare singer’s social media account immediately.
Gomez and her new boyfriend had countered the move by stopping following the model two months later in March.
Fast forward to 2019, Gomez had asked for peace by letting the past be past and following Hadid again. But the action was not reciprocated until this weekend.
The two had previously made headlines after Hadid removed an Instagram post following Gomez’s supportive comment.
However, when addressing the episode later, Gómez clarified: “He should not have spoken without knowing the truth. Sorry. Please don’t be hurtful. She is a wonderful person, and it was all a misunderstanding. ”
